I'm not a professional artist. I don't feel nearly good enough to be one. I'm a professional author, but I use art to relax and have fun. If I have full ownership of the source of a piece, given I paint from photographs, I may put it up as a print, but I really don't expect anyone to buy one.
I use Photoshop CS5 and a wacom cintiq tablet to create my art. I mostly try to create images that remind me of oil paintings. How well I manage that is another matter.

Deviant Art is a wonderful place for people to display their art and there is some truly amazing work here. I'm continually amazed. In a lot of ways, I don't feel my own work stands up beside a lot of it, but this is really the only place for me to show it. I don't know how many people will be interested, but I like to have a place where I can go "here's what I've done". I'll add to the collection when I can and hopefully someone will see something they like.
